MULTI-SLITTER Machines

The Multi-slitter has multiple blades mounted on a common shaft and powered by a single motor. Its blades can be as close as two inches from each other. The standard model can have up to three blades. The Multi-slitter is available in two models, Standard and Plunger model.

• The Standard model has its lower shoe or counter blade permanently connected to its upper frame like the conventional electric shears. Consequently it is very easy to change slitting widths but in cannot be engaged at will. The slitting must start from the end of the fabric.

• The Plunger model's lower shoe is not attached to the upper part but to a rail below it lined up with the upper blade. In this arrangement enables the upper rotary blade to be lowered into the fabric and start to slit or stop slitting any time. However, the shoe needs to be adjusted each time the upper blade is moved.
