There have been made several improvements since, and with its digital setting the Ultra-Pleater is more accurate and a more productive semi-automatic pleat marker. It is far more productive than manual pleating. It is easy to learn, does not require any arithmetic knowledge for fast pleat marking, and will hide the seams automatically. It will mark the pleats and spaces with ultraviolet ink, invisible under normal light but visible under ultraviolet light. The Ultra-Pleater will also free the workroom from dependence on pleating specialists.
